The "Hero" Helmets were made for the leading actors in the film and were also used many close-up shots. They differ from the "Stunt" helmets as they feature grey bubble lenses, a smaller frown and lowered brow.

Following on from the success of the “Stunt” Trooper and Imperial Pilot Helmets we've listened closely to the wishes of our collector customers. Therefore rather than just "Hero-ising" the Stunt helmet we've made a few minor revisions and for this helmet the original master moulds were precisely duplicated and a number of processes took place on this new mould to finalise the "Hero" design.

Made of white 2.5mm High Impact Styrene matching the original 1976 colour tones. The Hero's feature grey acrylic "bubble" eye lenses, brow trim produced from the original dyes and tools, ultra thin decals matching the original designs,mic tips cast from original piece, withall other detailing hand painted. Each unique hand-made helmet is signed by Andrew Ainsworth and includes a new design helmet stand, incorporating a numbered brushed metal plaque
